We were in the process of revamping the website, improving member participation, and making the fan club way more cool, but life keeps getting in the way. Like many of our plans, the banner has fallen by the wayside. Much sadness is being had by all.

The Joss Whedon Fan Club Exposed!
The Joss Whedon Fan Club (JWFC) is an organization founded specifically to honor writer, director, producer, and sometimes actor, Joss Whedon. We not only celebrate the extraordinary entertainment value of Whedon’s work, we respect and appreciate Whedon’s consistent success in developing female characters who are strong, intelligent, independent, and heroic. We believe strongly in Whedon’s mission to abolish inaccurate and harmful female stereotypes from the film and television landscape and encourage people the world over to embrace a positive and non-discriminatory view of women.
JWFC was founded by sister and brother, Kristin and Erich, in July of 2006. Armed with Erich’s business degree and web programming skills and Kristin’s love of all things Whedon, the siblings established a parent company, Compressed Carbon Enterprises, LLC, and started the arduous process of getting the Fan Club off the ground.
With the invaluable assistance of Austin Browncoat Chairman, Beth Nelson, the Fan Club is looking forward to a complete website makeover, new membership packages, and a simpler shopping experience.
We are currently seeking a new administrator for the fan club. If you have the time, energy, passion, and organizational skills to take this project and make it Whedon-Worthy, we want to hear from you. Please email us and let us know why you think you'd be the best person for the job (i.e. how enthusiastic you are about sharing your love of Joss Whedon's work with the world, how many people you can rely on to assist you with the job, how mad your HTML skills are, etc.). We'll turn the fan club over to the right candidate for the low, low price of $0.00.
